Setting: Acute Care Academic Hospital (300 beds, including Behavioral Health and Maternity)
EMR: Meditech (legacy system)
Trauma Designation: Level I Adult Trauma, Level II Pediatric Trauma
Stroke Center: Yes Thrombectomy Capable
Opportunity Highlights: Primary Need: Inpatient Neurologist (blended inpatient/outpatient model preferred)
Consult Volume: new consults/week; average daily census
Stroke Codes: 30/month (1 2 per day)
Schedule: M F clinical work + 1 in 4 weekends
Call: 2 overnight calls/week (phone only; rare facility call-ins)
Support & Team Structure: Current staffing: 1.5 FTEs in private practice (under-resourced)
Long-term vision: Build a modern Neurology Division, employ providers, integrate APP support and Teleneurology
APP support in development: 2 APPs planned, cross-trained for IP/OP
Collaborate with residents in academic teaching setting
Ideal Candidate: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
NY license
Comfortable with high-acuity inpatient neurology
Interest in developing a growing service line and mentoring residents
Open to locum or permanent models
