We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining processes. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality components that meet strict specifications.
Duties
- Operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to manufacture parts according to engineering specifications.
- Perform CNC programming and CAM programming to create efficient machining processes.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accuracy of machined parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, applying GD&T principles as necessary.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Collaborate with engineering teams using SolidWorks and CAD software for design modifications and improvements.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Assemble components as required, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with hands-on knowledge of machining processes.
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages (such as Fanuc) and CAM software.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with electrical discharge machining is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to machining tasks.
- Experience with tooling setups and adjustments for various machining operations.
- Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes is advantageous.
- Forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory.
