We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to assist in managing a team of staff members while ensuring that customer service is of the highest quality. The successful candidate will also be expected to provide leadership and guidance to staff members to create a positive work environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurants run smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the Front-of-House Manager in overseeing daily operations.

Lead and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding customer service.

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.

Assist in the organization and supervision of shifts.

Assist with the recruitment, training, and development of all team members and ensure they are knowledgeable about job expectations, as well as assess performance on a regular basis.

Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance reviews.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers as needed.

Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations.

Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.

Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.

Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.

Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service.

Step into the Manager role when required.

Maintain a business casual dress code. This means neat, professional attire that's comfortable and appropriate for a restaurant setting. Examples include collared shirts, blouses, dress pants or khakis, and closed-toe shoes. Please avoid jeans, sneakers, or overly casual clothes.

Qualifications:

Minimum of two (2) years of increased restaurant/food service management experience

Full-Service restaurant experience expected.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and be able to interface effectively with all levels of management.

Proven track record of resolving uncomfortable situations with clients, customers, peers, and direct reports.

Proven ability to effectively manage conflict and ensure successful outcomes; work under pressure and deal with high stress situations while exercising sound judgment and decision making.

Ability to effectively influence through knowledge, relationship management, and trust.

Knowledge of Toast is preferred but not required.

Working Conditions: PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL: This position may require occasional lifting and carrying of objects up to 50 pounds. Duties are typically performed in a fast-paced, moderate volume restaurant environment. Regularly required to use a computer keyboard, mouse, monitor, and telephone. Regularly required to reach, talk, listen, interpret, and communicate, both verbally and in

writing. Frequently required to walk and sit for extended periods of time, up to 100% of a normal work shift. Vision is expected to be at a level proficient for reading and viewing monitors and other hardware components. Works in a restaurant environment with possible high stress levels.
