Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff coordination
- Supervise and train team members on food handling, customer service, POS systems and safety protocols
- Manage inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently across all menu items
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and end-of-shift reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Promote a positive team environment through effective supervision, motivation, and leadership
Experience
- Proven management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably with casual dining or quick service experience
- Strong background in management
- Experience supervising staff
- Knowledge of food safety standards and certifications applicable within the hospitality industry
- Previous experience in restaurants but not required
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
