      • Provide comprehensive care for neonates in the newborn nursery and Level III NICU, collaborating with Neonatologists during the day and assuming in-house coverage with on-call support at night.
      • Attend deliveries and participate in resuscitation efforts to ensure a smooth transition for newborns requiring specialized care.
      • Utilize advanced assessment and diagnostic skills to develop and implement individualized care plans.
      • Collaborate effectively with a team of nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
      • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in neonatal care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.Our NICU Environment:
        • 15-bed Level III NICU with the capacity to expand to 22 beds as needed.
        • Average daily census of 12 neonates.
        • Utilizes Epic electronic medical record system.
        • Provides comprehensive respiratory support, including invasive (INO) and oscillator ventilation.
        • Offers access to a wide range of pediatric subspecialists through phone consultations with a university system.
        • Dedicated pediatric cardiology and ophthalmology services are readily available.Qualifications:
          • Master's degree in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program.
          • Active Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) certification.
          • NYS licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
          • Minimum two years of experience in a Level III NICU setting.
          • Strong clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and excellent communication abilities.
