Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient - (PTA)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1471.00 - $1515.00
This Physical Therapist Assistant position is based in beautiful Naples, Florida, a coastal community on the Gulf of Mexico known for its stunning white-sand beaches, clear waters, and breathtaking sunsets. Physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and other rehab professionals collaborate closely to create individualized plans of care that prioritize functional outcomes and patient goals.As a Physical Therapist Assistant in this setting, you will work under the direction and supervision of licensed physical therapists, helping to implement treatment plans and progress patients safely and effectively. Typical responsibilities include guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities, performing interventions and modalities within the PTA scope of practice, monitoring patient responses, and providing clear education on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies. You will also participate in patient scheduling, documentation, and communication with the care team, ensuring continuity and quality of care.A typical day includes a steady outpatient caseload with opportunities to see a range of diagnoses and ages, from active retirees and working professionals to student athletes. Patient volumes and schedules are designed to support thorough, personalized care while maintaining clinic efficiency. The clinics treatment areas are equipped with updated therapy equipment, exercise tools, and technology to support advanced rehabilitation techniques.The team culture emphasizes mentorship, ongoing learning, and clinical excellence. PTAs are encouraged to grow their skills in targeted areas such as orthopedics, sports medicine, balance training, and functional rehabilitation. Being part of a larger therapy network provides access to established clinical protocols, in-house education, and a clear pathway for professional growth.
