Facility is seeking Internal Medicine physician to join as a Faculty member Compelling blend of academic leadership, clinical practice, and mentorship Primarily outpatient with some inpatient responsibilities Focus Areas: Research, Quality Improvement (QI), and Scholarly Activities Lead and oversee:- All QI projects and scholarly activities- Research development and mentorship- Eight Morbidity & Mortality (M&M) conferences and eight journal clubs annually (co-led with a senior resident) Teach and mentor residents and medical students in a collaborative, hands-on environment Participate in Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) training and education Collaborative Faculty: Clinician educators committed to professionalism, communication, and mentorship Accreditation: Continued accreditation with commendation by ACGME Supportive Structure:- Capped ward rotations for manageable teaching loads- Diverse subspecialty support- Strong interdepartmental relationships Resident Wellness: Emphasis on burnout prevention and wellness initiatives for both faculty and residents Ideal Candidate Traits- Passionate about medical education and research- Experienced or interested in QI and scholarly work- Flexible, adaptable, and a strong team player- Committed to high-quality, patient-centered care
