Who We Are
We are a Real Estate Investment and Development Company. We have been building new apartments, and also renovating existing older properties across Los Angeles for over 20 years. We do a high volume of 2-6 unit apartments. We are a lean, experienced team that moves fast and takes pride in delivering projects on time. We are growing our high volume 2-6 unit project load and need a seasoned Construction Manager to help lead that growth.
The Role
You'll take ownership of rehabbing and building a volume of 2-6 unit projects across the LA area - managing day-to-day site operations, keeping subs in line, and making sure work gets done right. You'll have real autonomy here, but you won't be alone: you'll have direct access to ownership and a support team that's responsive and decisive.
What You'll Do
- Manage on-site renovation and new construction activities from start to finish
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, architects, and inspectors to keep projects on track
- Conduct weekly site walks and proactively resolve issues before they become delays
- Ensure full compliance with LA building codes and permit requirements
- Maintain clean project documentation: daily logs, RFIs, change orders, inspection records
- Communicate proactively with ownership on budget, schedule, and site conditions
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of construction management experience, with multifamily residential strongly preferred
- Solid track record managing projects from permit through closeout
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Working knowledge of California Building Code and LA-specific permit/inspection processes
- Comfortable managing multiple active sites simultaneously
- Strong communicator who can hold subs accountable without burning relationships
