Job description
Job Summary:
The right candidate machines parts, molds and tooling in manual/CNC mills and lathes from detailed drawings, without supervision from day one in the company. This candidate should have the ability to creatively solve machining problems and ensure products are produced to specification provided on prints or through Cent Roll Products manufacturing processes. This candidate will also provide inputs into product design to ensure that they can be manufactured cost-effectively
Essential Job Functions
• Experience in operating manual and CNC lathes.
• Experience in operating manual and CNC mills.
• Experience making molds and toolings from engineering drawings
• Experience in MIG welding steel, aluminum and stainless steel.
• Must be able to read measuring instruments; such as a pi tape, tape measure, and micrometers.
• Support the maintenance of lathes and making of repair parts for lathes
• Has basic math skills, and is able follow instructions and lists from supervisor.
• Must be able to communicate in oral and written English, show up for work daily and on time, work in a standing position, and lift 50 pounds.
• Must work in a safe manner, and perform tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Hiring for first or second shift.

Education & Experience:
• 7-15 years of experience making parts and molds on manual/CNC lathes, mills
• Possesses working ability to read drawings and build parts to print
• Possesses coaching, and/or mentoring skills.
• Strong team player skills; able to work well with others and support internal cross-function needs
Competencies - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Significant experience creating complex parts and molds in manual/CNC lathes and mills
• complex machined parts production
• creating tooling for urethane molded parts
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
