We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of trucks and equipment. The Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in various types of trucks and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Operate equipment safely while performing repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on all equipment.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to improve operational efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with heavy machinery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in equipment repair and maintenance, particularly with diesel engines.
- Knowledge of air brake systems and their maintenance is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- We are willing to train you if you have mechanical knowledge.
- Valid driver's license required.
