HVAC Installer (Residential & Light Commercial)
Location: New Rochelle, NY (serving Westchester County and surrounding areas)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Compensation: Up to $45/hour

About the Opportunity
A well-established and growing HVAC contractor is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join its team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who takes pride in high-quality installations, dependable workmanship, and strong customer service across residential and light commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems including central AC, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, boilers, and indoor air quality equipment
• Install and modify ductwork, refrigerant piping, condensate drains, and ventilation systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, installation drawings, and manufacturer specifications
• Perform system start-ups, testing, and commissioning
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related issues
• Ensure all work complies with local codes and quality standards
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
• Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and management
• Complete accurate job documentation and paperwork

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of HVAC installation experience required
• Experience with residential split systems, heat pumps, furnaces, and ductless systems
• Light commercial installation experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices, and safety procedures
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and confined spaces

Preferred Certifications

• EPA Universal Certification
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• Manufacturer training (Daikin, Lennox, Mitsubishi, etc.) preferred
