What You'll Do- Perform MIG, TIG, Pulse, and Flux Core welding across a variety of metals
- Fabricate pressure vessels, piping systems, and custom assemblies
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Select welding methods, equipment, and parameters for each unique job
- Work with carbon steel (primary) and stainless steel (as needed)
- Conduct quality inspections (first article + in-process checks)
- Use tools like calipers, squares, and measuring devices to ensure precision
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement in processes, safety, and efficiency
- 3+ years of hands-on welding experience (MIG, TIG, Pulse, Flux Core)
- Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with carbon steel fabrication (required)
- Stainless steel experience (a plus)
- Background in pressure vessels, piping, or custom fabrication
- Skilled with measuring tools and fabrication techniques
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to thrive in a low-volume, high-variation environment
- ASME certification or code welding experience
- Familiarity with ASME & AWS standards
- Experience with inspection and quality control processes
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve on custom builds

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of East Amherst, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
