Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Gastroenterology

The practice seeks experienced Gastroenterologists for 24-hour call coverage through 2026. With a schedule that runs from Monday at 7 AM to Friday at 7 PM, you'll find a perfect balance between work and leisure in this small town that offers big city amenities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality gastroenterological care to patients
- Participate in 24-hour call coverage from Monday to Friday
- Collaborate with hospitalists and colorectal surgeons within the community
- Perform ERCP procedures as needed
- Work at a GI clinic located less than half a mile from the hospital
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Experienced in ERCP
- Valid Michigan medical license (or proof of IMLC for dates 60+ days out)
- DEA certification at the time of start
- No malpractice history
Licenses and Certification Requirements:
- Current Michigan medical license (REQUIRED)
- Board certification (REQUIRED)
- DEA license (REQUIRED)
- Proof of required vaccinations and TB test
