Job Title: Locum Physician - Cardiac Anesthesiology Omaha, NE

Looking for a rewarding locum opportunity in cardiac anesthesiology at a leading academic medical center in Omaha, Nebraska.   • Shift: Unrestricted overnight call and weekend call, Monday-Friday 8-10 hour days

  • License/Certifications: Must be TEE certified; Cardiac anesthesiology fellowship preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in CV anesthesia if fellowship not completed; documented proficiency in Advanced Perioperative Echocardiography (NBE)

What You ll Do
  • Provide advanced anesthetic care for open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart surgeries
  • Perform and interpret intraoperative TEE procedures
  • Support general OR cases when needed
  • Collaborate with surgical teams including CV surgeons and OR staff
  • Cover on-call responsibilities including night and holiday shifts
  • Assist with perioperative patient management
  • Ensure compliance with all hospital safety and procedural protocols
What You Need
  • Valid medical license to practice in Nebraska (or ability to obtain)
  • Certification in TEE; Cardiac Anesthesiology fellowship preferred
  • At least 5 years of CV anesthesia experience if fellowship not completed
  • Strong skills in echocardiography and perioperative care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
