Hematology/Oncology Physician

Coverage Needed

• Start Date: 09/01/2026
• End Date: Ongoing
• Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 8am-5pm (1-hour unpaid lunch); Mondays off
• Provider will travel to multiple locations
  • 1st site coverage on Wednesdays; 2nd site coverage twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays
• Call Schedule: Night call on some days (TBD), Weekend call (TBD)

Clinical Details

• EMR System: EPIC
• Practice Settings: Inpatient + Call
• Required Procedures:
• Call: Call rotation will include serving as primary and backup to the APPs
  • While on call, must be available by telephone
  • APP will let the provider know if they need to come into the hospital

Requirements

• Certifications: ACLS needed if requesting conscious sedation privileges; BLS for all specialties
• Active IN State License or IMLC
• Case Logs
• Flu & Covid Vaccination: Needed or valid medical/religious exemption
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (Certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency)
