The facility features a 25-bed department, a dedicated clinic space for the Urologist, and a Da Vinci Xi Robot onsite, providing cutting-edge surgical capabilities and strong provider support.
Opportunity:Physician - Urology
Job Details:- Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for long-term locum tenens coverage with a 1 year or longer commitment preferred
- 2 week on/2 week off rotation with flexible scheduling; August 2026 start preferred
- Coverage consists of Monday through Friday clinic and OR shifts; typical schedule includes 4 clinic days and 1 OR day per week, 8am - 5pm
- No call coverage required
- Approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
- Da Vinci Xi Robot available onsite for robotic surgical procedures
- General Urology (Adult required, Pediatric preferred) skills required
- Laparoscopic surgeries and ureteroscopy required
- Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy required
- TRUS biopsies and fertility work-up required
- Nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and incontinence procedures preferred
- Robotic surgery preferred
- Active Michigan License, Michigan CDS, and Michigan DEA required
- Must be licensed in MI or hold an IMLC license
- ACLS certification required
- Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship in Urology required
- At least 50 urological procedures within the past 12 months required, reflective of the scope of privileges requested
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days
