Job description

  • Dates: December 24-26 (must be available to be considered).
  • 7:00a-5:00p in-house; 5:00p-7:00a on-call (Greenview).
  • 8:00a-4:00p in-house; 4:00p-8:00a on-call (may need to return if needed).
  • Ongoing coverage: 8-12 shifts per month.
  • Specialty: Critical Care Medicine (MD), locums/temporary coverage.
  • Setting: MICU; sole ICU provider with support from MICU nurses, respiratory therapists, and other service lines.
  • Daily patient volume: approximately 8-14 MICU patients.
  • Procedures (minimum): airway management, central lines, arterial lines, dialysis catheter placement, paracentesis, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, chest tube insertion.
  • Certifications: KY license, BC, ACLS
