What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on residential or commercial HVAC installation experience.
• The Tools: You own your own tools for installing ductwork and HVAC equipment.
• The Know-How: You can measure ductwork, understand basic complex sheet metal fittings, and wire up low-voltage connections on furnaces, air handlers, and A/C units like it's second nature.
• Mindset: You hate sloppy wiring, crooked lines, and messy work areas. You take pride in looking back at a finished mechanical room and wanting to take a picture of it.
• No Fear of Heights: You're comfortable working from a 28' extension ladder or a 12' step ladder when the job demands it.
• Basics: A clean driving record, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass standard background screening.
• Credentials: Valid EPA Universal Certification is required. NATE certification or an active Omaha/regional apprentice/journeyman license is a massive plus.

What You'll Do Every Day

• Own the Job: Manage and run residential and commercial installations from start to finish, independently or leading a team.
• Pass It Down: Supervise, teach, and mentor apprentice installers. We believe in keeping the trade strong by teaching the next generation the right way to do things.
• Test & Verify: Complete your paperwork, test your line sets, and ensure the system is running beautifully before you pack up.
• Drive & Maintain: Operate a company vehicle safely every day, keeping it clean and reporting any maintenance needs.
• Represent D & K: Maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Talk to our customers and comfort advisors with respect and clear communication.
