Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Summer CampLocation:Fishkill, NY
Employment Type:Temporary (Summer Assignment)
Pay Rate:$35.00 per hour
Assignment Dates:Immediate Start - August 15
Schedule:3 days per week
Shifts between Monday-Sunday
Typical hours: 7:30 AM - 9:00 PM
Occasional extended hours (up to 10:00 PM) may be required

exclusively to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
Job Overview:We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support health services at a summer camp in Fishkill, NY. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety and well-being of campers and staff through daily care, medication administration, and emergency response.
This is a great opportunity for LPNs looking for hands-on, seasonal work in a dynamic outdoor setting, with consistent hours and weekly pay.
LPN Responsibilities:- Administer medications and provide medical care to campers and staff
- Conduct health assessments and respond to injuries or illnesses
- Perform arrival health screenings for campers and staff
- Maintain accurate medical records (paper and electronic systems)
- Communicate with parents and internal teams regarding health concerns
- Follow medical directives and report serious concerns to leadership
- Ensure sanitary conditions across camp facilities
- Participate in staff training, orientation, and daily camp operations
- Remain available for on-call coverage during assigned camp hours
- Follow all safety and emergency procedures
Qualifications & Requirements:- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- Minimum 1+ year of nursing experience
- Comfortable working in a camp or outdoor environment
- Strong clinical, communication, and organization skills
- Ability to respond to emergencies independently
- All required medical clearances, and documentation must be up to date
- Experience in camp, school, or pediatric settings preferred
