Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat patients using appropriate history, physical exams, and diagnostic tools
Develop and manage treatment plans with a patient-centered approach
Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment options, concerns, and care plans
Accurately and thoroughly document patient care in the medical record
Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams and provide clinical leadership
Consult with colleagues and refer patients when clinically appropriate
Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and patient experience efforts
Provide availability for office visits, phone calls, electronic communication, and on-call coverage as outlined in policy
Requirements
MD or DO from an accredited medical or osteopathic school
Residency training in Medical Oncology
Board Certified in Medical Oncology
Active Colorado medical license (or ability to obtain)
Active DEA license
BLS or ACLS (hospital: upon hire clinic: within 90 days)
