Job description

  • Coverage blocks from June through December
  • Shifts: 24-hour call; all shifts 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM (EST)
  • Week structure: Monday-Friday onsite with weekend call coverage; night call via beeper; rarely called back after hours (mostly phone consults)
  • Team: 1 physician working 1:1 with an APP
  • Support: OR and in-house endoscopy nurses; may assist with rounding
  • EMR: Epic
  • Procedures: General GI and ERCP; blocked time available in endoscopy suite
  • Requirements: Board Certification: Gastroenterology, Active TN license or IMLC, TN DEA required; TN CSR preferred, ACLS and BLS
