Job Summary and Responsibilities As an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), you will join the large multi-specialty Mercy Medical Group (MMG) , playing a pivotal role in delivering timely care at our Midtown Urgent Care Clinic in Downtown Sacramento, CA. The clinic is open 7am - 7pm Monday - Friday and 8am - 4pm on weekends and holidays.
You will evaluate, treat, and stabilize patients with non-life-threatening conditions, providing essential services to our community and seamlessly referring them back to their primary care physicians. You'll work within a collegial and supportive environment, with great flexibility in scheduling your 165 annual shifts.
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced and collaborative NP or PA committed to providing high-quality urgent care, working effectively within a team of physicians, nurses, LVNs, and MAs.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic ordering for acute conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for common illnesses and injuries within an urgent care scope.
- Educate patients on their diagnoses, treatment regimens, and follow-up care instructions, promoting self-management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinic staff to ensure efficient patient throughput and effective communication of care plans.

- Active or eligible license in the state of California

- 1+ years of recent relevant experience preferred

Pay Range$151,291.77 - $155,830.30 /year
