If you enjoy hands-on work, take ownership of quality, and want to be part of a team that keeps the oil and gas industry running, we'd love to meet you.What You Will DoAs a Paint Technician, you'll prepare, prime, paint, and finish compressor packages, gas engines, skids, and related equipment before they head to our customers.Responsibilities Include:Prepare equipment by cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface preppingMix and apply industrial primers and coatingsPaint natural gas compressor packages, gas engines, skids, piping, and fabricated equipmentInspect finished products for quality, consistency, and appearancePerform touch-ups and correct paint defects as neededMaintain paint booth equipment, spray guns, and painting toolsFollow all environmental, safety, and PPE requirementsKeep the paint area clean, organized, and operating efficientlyWork closely with Manufacturing and Shop teams to meet production schedulesWhy Midwest?At Midwest Compressor Systems, we're building more than equipment-we're building a team.We believe in:? What We Are Looking ForRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentPrevious painting experience Strong attention to detailDependable with a strong work ethicAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to safely operate spray equipment and hand toolsCommitment to safety and qualityPreferred QualificationsIndustrial painting experienceExperience with HVLP or airless spray systemsHeavy equipment, manufacturing, or oil & gas experienceExperience painting compressor packages or industrial equipmentForklift experience is a plusPI229a52c6f8fd-4462
