We are hiring experienced Cardiothoracic Step Down Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant Candidates in New Jersey! This would be a sweet role ! Monday - Friday ALL Day Shift! 8am-4pm! Excellent Quality of life schedule This position is 100% Cardiac Step Down, No ICU job duties. Assist in the implementation of the health care plan and management of Cardiothoracic Surgical Service patients by performing diagnostic and therapeutic tasks as defined by the surgical attending staff. Responsibilities shall be approved by the Medical Staff Board. Responsible for patient care related to pre and post operative heart surgery and Ventricular Assist Device patients in the CCU and Telemetry unit as defined by surgical attending. Assure clear and concise transfer of clinical information between nurses, clinical staff and physicians.Assist in data collecting of information related to any research trials within the department of Cardiothoracic; maintaining communication with other clinical service.
CCU/Cardiac/Ct Surgery experience required.
NJ State license for Physician Assistant
NJ State license for Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
