Job description

Coverage Needed

  • Start Date: Nov 21
  • End Date: Ongoing
  • Schedule: Clinic coverage 8:30am-5pm on weekdays (inpatient and outpatient)
    • Provider will be expected to be in clinic and on call from 830am-5pm on weekdays
  • Call Schedule: Weeknight beeper call 5pm-8:30am; 24-hour weekend beeper call; call responsibility included during daytime clinic hours
  • Open Dates: Nov 21-Dec 8 and Dec 27-Jan 5
    • may not be in clinic all 5 days during the dates listed but it is a possibility

Clinical Details

  • EMR System: Epic
  • Practice Settings: Outpatient, Inpatient
  • Patients Per Shift: 5
  • Support Staff: MAs: yes; PA/NPs: 1
  • Trauma Level: 3
  • Neurosurgery cases including complex spine
  • Call Response Time: 20-30 minutes

Requirements

  • Board Certified or truly Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency is an option
  • Certifications: FLURO certification (temporary FLURO accepted)
  • DEA
  • Active CA License
  • Case Logs: 100 cases within the past 24 months specific to requested privileges; 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty
  • Explanation of gaps greater than 3 months; updated CV with all hospital affiliations
