Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator with hands-on experience working with brass sheet metal and tubing. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of producing custom, high-end fixtures and assisting with on-site installations when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble custom brass fixtures from sheet metal and tubing
- Read and interpret technical drawings and design specifications
- Perform precise cutting, bending, forming, and finishing of brass components
- Execute high-quality brazing (required skill)
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in bespoke fabrication work
- Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and quality standards
- Conduct on-site installations for residential and commercial projects
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with sheet metal and brass tubing
- Strong brazing skills (required)
- Ability to fabricate custom, one-off (bespoke) pieces with high accuracy
- Experience with both residential and commercial fixture production
- Comfortable performing on-site installations
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Communicate in English (a must) or Bi-lingual
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in architectural metalwork or decorative fabrication
- Experience working directly with designers or clients on custom projects
