The Medical Assistant Instructor is responsible for training and guiding students in medical assisting programs. This role involves providing hands-on clinical instruction, lecturing,assessing student progress, and supporting learners throughout their education to prepare them for successful careers in healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Train students in medical assisting skills and procedures
- Provide clinical instruction and demonstrate medical techniques
- Assess and evaluate student performance regularly
- Offer academic and emotional support to students
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and clinical partners
- Incorporate technology and digital tools into training sessions
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in medical assisting
- Previous teaching experience a plus
