Seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator with at least two years of experience in fabricating and welding filtration equipment, piping systems, and structural components. This role requires the ability to interpret blueprints, apply welding standards, and complete projects safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and weld filtration equipment, pipe assemblies, and structural components from blueprints and work orders.
  • Interpret and apply AWS welding symbols, drawings, BOMs, routings, and engineering change notices.
  • Perform GMAW (MIG) and FCAW welding processes, selecting appropriate wire, shielding gases, voltage, and wire feed settings.
  • Operate preheat-cutting torches, stud welders, and overhead cranes safely and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and housekeeping requirements.
  • Complete shop work orders, rework documentation, and utilization reports accurately.
  • Troubleshoot fabrication issues and support continuous process improvements.
  • Train and mentor team members on welding and fabrication procedures as needed.
  • Lead by example and promote a safe, productive team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of welding and fabrication experience.
  • Successful completion of AWS 1G Unlimited Thickness Certification or ASME Section IX Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS welding codes, symbols, and standards.
  • Hands-on experience with GMAW, FCAW, structural fabrication, and pipe welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Experience operating overhead cranes, stud welders, and cutting torch equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and sense of urgency.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
