We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer II who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about driving operational excellence.This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on manufacturing performance, process optimization, product quality, and continuous improvement initiatives while working alongside talented engineers, technicians, and manufacturing professionals.If you enjoy identifying inefficiencies, implementing solutions, and seeing the results of your work on the production floor, we'd like to hear from you.What You'll DoAs a Manufacturing Engineer II, you will lead efforts to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, optimize production processes, and support new and existing products throughout their lifecycle.Key responsibilities include:Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and workflowsDrive Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and 5S initiativesIdentify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and sources of waste, then implement sustainable solutionsCreate and maintain manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and process documentationSupport production teams with troubleshooting and technical problem-solvingManage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)Modify and maintain 2D and 3D designs using CAD softwareDesign manufacturing, assembly, and inspection toolingPerform Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actionsSupport First Article Inspections (FAI) and product validationsMaintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product structures within ERP/PDM systemsExecute process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ)Develop and track KPIs such as OEE, scrap, labor efficiency, throughput, and on-time deliveryCollaborate with design engineering, quality, manufacturing, suppliers, and production teamsSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) and product transfer activitiesWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a machine manufacturing or similar environmentExperience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologiesExperience with process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&TExperience using CAD software, including SolidWorks and/or Autodesk productsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience in automation, machine design, material handling, or custom equipment manufacturingBackground in medical devices, aerospace, laser technology, or food and beverage manufacturingLean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferredLean Six Sigma Black Belt a plusExperience with ERP/MRP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar platformsKnowledge of ASME Y14.5 and ASME Y14.100 standardsTechnical certifications in automation, quality, machine design, or related disciplinesWhy Join MMT?Work on innovative automation and manufacturing technologiesOpportunity to drive meaningful process improvements and operational resultsCollaborative environment where engineering ideas become realityExposure to custom machinery, automation systems, and advanced manufacturing processesGrowth opportunities within a rapidly evolving organizationCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits packageReady to Make an Impact?Join MMT and help shape the future of manufacturing through innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
