Job description

Coverage Needed

  • Start Date: 07/22/2026
  • Schedule: 24-hour call from 8 AM to 8 AM
  • Open Dates:
    • July 22-24, 30
    • Aug Aug 7
    • Sept 1-4, 7-9, 16-18, 25-26
    • Oct 1-3, 13-15, 21-22
    • Nov 2-5, 13, 18-19, 26-28
    • Dec 1-3, 15-17, 24-27, 31-Jan 4

Clinical Details

  • Setting: Hospital with a dedicated Family Birthing Center (L&D floor) and its own OR for C-sections
  • Duties: Deliveries (average 23-30 per month), C-sections, ED call coverage for OB/GYN-related issues
  • Required Procedures: All OBGYN
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Support Staff: Anesthesiologists (1 on-call after hours and on weekends for OR's and FBC), General Surgeons, 3 local OB/GYN's, 1 Family Medicine OB, Pediatrician on-call, experienced and skilled Respiratory Therapists

Requirements

  • Board Certified OBGYN or Board Eligible within 5 years
  • CA License
  • DEA
  • Clean malpractice preferred
  • Self-Query NPDB report (must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date)
