Shift Coverage Options
- Night shifts: 7:00 PM 8:00 AM
- Weekend shifts:
- 7:00 AM 8:00 PM
- 8:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Swing: 2:00 PM 12:00 AM
- PRN coverage based on scheduling gaps
Clinical Responsibilities
- ICU patient management and supervision
- Oversight of internal medicine residents
- Backfill procedural coverage when needed
- Adult critical care management in a high-acuity setting
- Collaborative decision-making with multidisciplinary ICU team
ICU Environment
- 20-bed ICU unit
- Average census: patients
- Weekend census: 8 10 patients
- Residents typically perform procedures
- Strong academic teaching hospital setting
Requirements
Board Certified in Critical Care REQUIRED
Active Massachusetts License REQUIRED
ACLS & BLS REQUIRED
Minimum 1 year ICU experience
Epic experience required
Local candidates only (within 1.5 hours of Salem, MA)
