We re seeking a Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for an ongoing locum opportunity in Springfield, Ohio, supporting a full-service acute care hospital after an unexpected provider medical emergency.

Starting May 28 at 7:00 AM
Ongoing coverage needed for at least 2 months
Sporadic coverage expected after initial assignment period

Full-service acute care hospital
️ 250 total hospital beds
60 ICU beds
️ 1 physician currently in practice
2 mid-level providers onsite
Adult patient population only
100% hospital-based practice
Onsite lab and imaging services available
Required Procedures
General Cardiovascular, Thoracic, and Vascular surgeries
Coronary artery bypass procedures
Congenital defect repairs
Valvular repair and replacement procedures
Aneurysm repair
Lung resections including VATS
Chest wall and pleural procedures
Esophagus and diaphragm surgeries
Carotid and renal endarterectomy
Ventilation management
Bronchoscopy
Management of acute volume and blood pressure issues

Candidate Requirements
Board Certified in Cardiovascular, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery no exceptions
Active Ohio License required
ACLS and BLS certifications required
