Job description

Shift: Standard; 5, Day (8 Hours) 6:00 - 18:00

Description:
  • Patients per day: 20-30 (as a collective service)
  • Patient Population/Age: all ages
  • Closed ICU. A
  • Admissions need to be accepted by the intensivist on duty
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Hospital Bed size: 270 beds
  • Admit strictly does hospital admissions, Swing also does admissions, Nights do admissions/cross covers (there are 2 docs on from 6p-6a each night).
  • During the hours 6p -6a the Swing physician and night doc also cross cover the patients that are in the hospital, with the exception of ICU.
  • Early Swing is 10a-10p
Requirements:
  • Board Certification: Must be BE or BC in Internal or Family Medicine
  • License Required: AZ license required (or IMLC LOQ in hand)
  • DEA: Required
  • Certifications Required: ACLS
  • Minimum Experience Required: 2 years
  • Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks
