Locums - Redding, California General Cardiology Opportunity
Clinical Role
Join a busy outpatient cardiology practice providing comprehensive general cardiology services in a collaborative clinical setting. This long-term locums opportunity offers an excellent weekday schedule with no hospital responsibilities and flexibility for one full-time physician or two providers sharing the assignment.

Schedule & Coverage
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (includes one-hour lunch)
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Full-time schedule of 4-5 days per week
- Client will consider two physicians working two weeks per month each
Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Setting: Outpatient cardiology clinic
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient general cardiology care
- Evaluate new and established patients
- Develop and manage treatment plans for cardiovascular conditions
- Review diagnostic studies and laboratory results
- Coordinate ongoing patient care with referring providers
- Complete documentation using Cerner EMR
Patient Volume:
- Approximately 20 patients per day
Procedures:
- No procedural responsibilities
- 100% outpatient general cardiology

- EMR: Cerner
- Dedicated Registered Nurse (RN)
- Medical Assistant
- Clinic Supervisor
- Collaborative outpatient practice environment
Requirements
- Board Certified in Cardiology - Required
- Board Eligible candidates will not be considered
- Active California medical license - Required
- Completion of an accredited U.S. or Canadian Cardiology fellowship - Required
- Residency and fellowship training must be accredited by one of the following:
- Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
- American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM)
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
