24 hour call coverage
Weekend coverage included as part of schedule
Requirements
Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Board Eligible within 5 years
Active California license
DEA required during credentialing
Assignment Details
Hospital setting with a dedicated Family Birthing Center with an OR for C-sections
Deliveries, C-sections, and ED call coverage for OB/GYN-related cases
Average 23-30 deliveries per month
EMR: Cerner
Support staff includes anesthesiologists, general surgeons, OB/GYNs, family medicine OB, pediatrician on-call, and respiratory therapists
Proctoring required including observed deliveries and gynecological procedures
