Job Description

The Superintendent specializes in representing Robbins Construction Group for on-site supervision, administration, and coordination of a construction project.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously maintain a positive working relationship with clients, architects, subcontractors, city officials, and neighboring businesses
  • Develop lasting relationships with clients, architects, and vendors that enable future planning and supports continuous growth
  • A primary point of contact at the jobsite to work directly with City, State, and Government officials, inspectors, and representatives
  • Provide training and support to local subcontractors in Multifamily quality best practices
  • Coordinate site expectations/plans with on-site support team prior to home weekends
  • Ensure a healthy and safe work environment: actively participate and lead safety meetings and successfully complete annual safety training
  • Authority to enforce jobsite safety
  • Maintain a keen eye on day-to-day project operations while focusing on the project's Critical Path
  • Work directly with the project team on the overall job schedule
  • Fiscally responsible for efficiently utilizing labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and other related resources.
  • Authority to manage on-site requirements for SWPPP, Insurance, and OSHA programs

Qualifications

  • Construction Management and/or Engineering Degree or related field experience
  • Ability to immerse yourself in diverse cultures and experiences
  • Accountable with and high sense of responsibility with a proven track record
  • Familiar with requirements of drawings and specifications and with terms and conditions of Project Contracts and subcontracts
  • Construction Management Software: Excel or related scheduling software, Procore, or similar project management software.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, get along well with others, and be a team player
  • Client focus and awareness of client/end-user cares and needs
  • Ability to prioritize, yet flexible
  • Strong work ethic
  • Resourcefulness and overcoming of reasonable obstacles
  • Professional composure and demonstrated integrity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
