Shipping & Receiving Associate
Location: Lakeland, FL
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour (Negotiable based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time
Position Type: Temporary-to-Permanent Opportunity
Mobile Staff Solutions is seeking a dependable and motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate for a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Lakeland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with shipping experience who enjoys working in a production setting and is looking for long-term career growth.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, package, and process outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Receive incoming materials, inspect deliveries, and verify shipment contents.
- Coordinate shipments using carriers such as UPS and various LTL freight providers.
- Maintain shipping and receiving records and enter data into company systems.
- Organize inventory and materials to support production operations.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed.
- Ensure all shipping activities are completed in a timely manner to meet production schedules.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving within a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Experience with UPS shipping systems and LTL freight shipments is highly desirable.
- General computer skills, including data entry and navigating basic software programs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
