A prestigious business Law firm in Hollywood, FL, is hiring a Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its busy, growing team.
Requirements and Duties:
- Ability to manage a caseload from inception through resolution
- 5+ years of commercial litigation experience practicing in state and federal courts
- Attend simple and complex hearings and make arguments on relevant issues
- Take and defend depositions, including party and expert depositions
- Attend mediation and engage in settlement discussions with opposing counsel and clients
- Draft various legal documents, motions, pleadings, discovery, etc.
- Collaborate on case strategy, handle legal research
- Regularly communicate with clients for updates
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex business issues.
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills are a must!
- FL Bar license, in good standing
