Our client is seeking an Associate Attorney -in Defense Litigation to join their team of professionals in their Atlantic City, NJ office.
Pay Range: $85k-$125k
Responsibilities
- Assists Attorney in initial case evaluation and development of litigation strategy.
- Represents casino and hospitality clients in employment-related litigation, administrative proceedings, and internal investigations.
- Conducts extensive legal research and drafts correspondences, pleadings, discovery and motions.
- Prepares for and conducts depositions.
- Prepares for and participates in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Assists in preparing settlement agreements, motions, and briefs.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to New Jersey Bar.
- 2-4 years' experience in Defense Litigation; Casino / Hospitality experience, preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced practice, required
- Experience with NetDocs and Time Matters, helpful.
