Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines with precision and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of various machining processes and the ability to interpret technical drawings. The Laser Operator will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality production standards while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate laser cutting machines to produce components according to specifications.
- Interpret and analyze technical drawings and blueprints.
- Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools and CNC machinery for assembly and finishing tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment.
- Familiarity with lathe operation, plasma cutting, and tooling techniques.
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Knowledge of programming CNC machines is a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for assembly tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Press Brake knowledge
- AutoCAD/Solid Works
- Knowledge of welding/fabrication
