Perform startup activities through Tier II, and complete qualifications with minimal assistance. Complete quality repairs. Actively respond to fab issues by communicating with engineers in other locations and participating in escalation conference calls. Initiate or participate in projects to drive down costs or increase uptime. Carry out action plans and report findings. Verify operational quality of system equipment. Follow all checklists and procedures and ensures correct Revs of procedures and schematics are available prior to performing work. Perform most retrofits on equipment, and assist in process issues. Apply diagnostic techniques and the use of documentation and test equipment with assistance from senior engineers. Inventory check, assemble and install PVD systems equipment at customers fab, including numerous stations, modules, components, and tools and ensuring timely delivery of project progress. Travel to client sites domestically/internationally required, 20%. Requirements: Associates degree or foreign degree equivalent in Engineering Technology, and 2 years of technical customer support experience in the Semiconductor Manufacturing industry. Alternatively accepting 4 years of technical customer support experience in the Semiconductor Manufacturing industry. Demonstrate knowledge and/or experience in each of the following: 1. Producer XP 2. Endura PVD/CVD 3. Oscilloscopes and power measurement meters 4. RF (Radio frequency) 5. DC (Direct Current) systems and robotic systems 6. Troubleshoot any faults in hardware/software functionality or leakages in gas, water, or chemical flow or motor/robotic movement malfunction 7.
