Responsibilities: Lead all phases of the investment process, due diligence, market research, financial analysis, and deal structuring. This function reflects primary ownership of the full investment lifecycle, including oversight and decision making authority generally reserved for more senior investment professionals; Lead all phases of the transaction process including financial modeling, valuation, structuring, and negotiations. Direct responsibility for transaction leadership and negotiation typically involves discretion and accountability beyond the scope of standard associate level responsibilities; Coordinate with legal, tax, and accounting advisors throughout the diligence process; Prepare and present investment recommendations to the investment committee with clear and actionable recommendations; Partner with management teams to execute growth strategies, operational improvements, and strategic initiatives. Active partnership and strategic collaboration with portco leadership to drive value creation are generally associated with more senior roles possessing broader operational and strategic authority; and Contribute to a highly performance driven team culture. Requirements & Qualifications: Employer requires candidate to have a Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of progressively more responsible work experience in an occupation in private equity, investment banking, management consulting or a related field. Candidate must also have the following: Demonstrated ability leading deal processes and executing transactions gained through five (5) years of work experience; Demonstrated ability performing financial modeling, valuation and analysis gained through five (5) years of work experience; Demonstrated ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely in communications and presentations gained through five (5) years of work experience; Demonstrated knowledge of middle market companies gained through five (5) years of work experience; and Demonstrated ability with leadership and problem solving gained through five (5) years of work experience.
