We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of legal functions within our family law practice area. Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other case management systems to support ongoing litigation and transactional matters.
  • Assist in drafting, proofreading, and editing legal documents including contracts, pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Manage case files and document review processes utilizing document management systems to ensure organized and accessible records.
  • Support attorneys with project management tasks such as tracking deadlines, coordinating meetings, and preparing case summaries.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records related to legal cases, client information, and court filings while adhering to strict confidentiality standards.
  • Facilitate communication through professional phone etiquette with clients, courts, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Provide administrative assistance including filing documents electronically and physically, managing calendars for court deadlines or client meetings, and supporting overall office organization.


Qualifications

  • Family law paralegal experience is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in legal research tools including Westlaw and LexisNexis is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in legal case management software management systems; experience with data entry and file organization.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear legal drafts and conduct thorough proofreading; strong transcription skills are advantageous.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong clerical experience including filing systems (electronic and physical), administrative support tasks, and phone etiquette.
