Company Overview
We are a small and quickly growing general contractor specializing in public works and municipal construction projects. We are looking to immediately hire an experienced Site Superintendent to run day-to-day field operations on active projects in the Columbia, SC area and surrounding region.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily on-site construction activities from planning and mobilization to closeout
- Supervise subcontractors and self-performed work
- Coordinate inspections
- Enforce jobsite safety and quality control requirements
- Maintain schedules and periodic field reports
- Review plans, specs, RFIs, and field changes
- Resolve field issues and keep projects moving
Requirements
- Experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role
- Public works project experience preferred
- Ability to read and build from plans and specifications
- Valid driver's license
