The Diesel Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty trucks, ensuring their operational efficiency and safety. Working within a small team of 2-4 members, the technician will apply expertise in diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance to support vehicle uptime and performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform engine diagnostics and troubleshoot issues promptly
- Repair and maintain fuel systems for optimal performance
- Conduct brake system inspections and repairs
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime
- Conduct emissions testing in compliance with regulations
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance standards
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in diesel technology
