The Electrical Engineer - Manufacturing will play a critical role in supporting and improving electrical systems within our manufacturing facility. Based in Hartsville, SC, this direct hire position offers a competitive salary range of $80-110k (DOE) plus full benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for design, troubleshooting, and project management related to electrical equipment installation, retrofit, and maintenance, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Complete engineering and design work for installation and retrofit of electrical equipment
- Provide day-to-day troubleshooting support to maintenance teams
- Contribute to purchasing, modification, and improvement of equipment
- Represent electrical discipline on cross-functional project teams
- Manage cost, schedule, and performance aspects of electrical project subsets
Required Qualifications
- Four-year college degree plus 3+ years relevant engineering experience, or two-year degree with 5+ years electrical engineering experience
- Proficient with CAD systems (3D preferred), MS Office, and engineering design software
- Experience troubleshooting facilities power systems and industrial controls wiring
- Knowledgeable in industrial networks troubleshooting
- Experience with project management, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Working knowledge of PLCs and HMI systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Rockwell)
- Familiarity with networking and Level II control systems
- Understanding of MCCs, low voltage distribution, drive systems, and basic industrial control technology
- Familiar with governing electrical codes such as IEEE and NEC
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions
