Requirements & Abilities
- MIG welding experience
- Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols
- Experience with fabrication tools (saws, grinders, drill press, etc.)
- Ability to measure accurately using tape, square, and level
- Knowledge of basic welding standards (AWS experience a plus)
- Ability to fit, tack, and assemble steel components
- Strong attention to detail and weld quality
- Ability to adhere to instructions and safety standards
- Great Attendance
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a shop environment (noise, heat, fumes)
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
- Must pass a drug test upon hire
Preferred:
- Structural steel fabrication experience
- Welding certifications
- Forklift experience
