We are looking for a motivated Criminal Defense Attorney to handle criminal cases (Higher Level Felonies) primarily in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. Duties will include investigating the case, evidence gathering, case strategy development and intensive litigation. The ideal candidate should have the ability to develop a case strategy and a fearless ability to litigate . If you have previous experience in Criminal Defense, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful applicant will competently and aggressively represent client's at trial and facing offense punishable by life in prison.
Responsibilities:
- Reading statutes and case documents
- Interview potential witnesses
- Legal Research and Writing
- Attend and conduct depositions
- Present and develop defenses strategies
- Draft, prepare and litigate Pre-Trial Motions
- Negotiate Plea deals on Client's behalf
Requirements:
- Proficient in MS Office.
- (3) years of Criminal Law Experience
- Licensed to practice law in Florida
