Overview:
An academic hospital-based opportunity is available for a Gynecologic Oncologist to provide a mix of surgical, clinic, and call coverage. This role includes working alongside a collaborative team with APP support and resident involvement in a multidisciplinary care setting.
Compensation:
$270/hr
Assignment Details:
Start: Mid-July 2026
Contract Length: July 2026 January 2027
Coverage: Typically 1 week per month
Additional coverage: 3-week block from September 19 October 9
Schedule:
Daytime: OR and clinic coverage
After-hours call required (APPs take first call)
Practice Details:
Setting: Hospital, clinic, and ambulatory surgery center
Academic environment with resident involvement
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: 3 APPs and 2 Medical Assistants
Department includes 1 surgeon and APP team
Patient Volume:
Clinic: patients per day
OR cases as scheduled
Patient Population:
Adult (18+)
Responsibilities:
Provide gynecologic oncology surgical care
Conduct outpatient clinic visits
Participate in call coverage
Collaborate with APPs and residents
Requirements:
Board Certified in Gynecologic Oncology Required
Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC Required
DEA Required
Credentialing:
Temporary privileges available with clean file
