JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active SC License
  • Board: BC in Critical Care
  • DEA: Yes
  • Certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year
  • Other Qualifications: Clean background ONLY; Must be out of training and practicing for at least 2 years
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide 24-hour on-campus call coverage on weekends (Sat 7a - Mon 7a)
  • Round with 2-3 pediatric/ED residents and supervise overnight call with 1 resident
  • Manage medical conditions including cardiac/respiratory arrest, sepsis, renal failure, and poisoning
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients
  • Treat traumatic injuries such as blunt force/penetrating injuries, fractures, and dislocations
